About Limelight

Limelight is a West Vancouver flower shop that specializes in funky and fresh flower arrangements. It is Greater Vancouver's hip, new flower shop, featuring the artistry of Kyla Reveley and staff.

About the name

Limelight got its inspiration from a combination of designing flower arrangements for the film industry, and the funky, fresh approach to artistry in flower arrangements using atypical ingredients like coffee beans, Chinese-fast-food containers, apples, lemons, and of course... limes.

Kyla

Kyla opened Limelight in 2005, finally realizing her dream. She got her start in the industry at the age of 15, sweeping floors and making bouquets in a local flower shop. Working her way up, she was soon apprenticing under some of Vancouver's best floral designers. After managing another shop for a few years, she took the plunge and opened her own store. Kyla is very thankful for her fabulous staff and how warmly the community has embraced Limelight. When Kyla is not at Limelight, she spends her time in her garden, baking, singing in community choir or volunteering with A Loving Spoonful. She's not all rainbows and sunshine however, as you can often catch her enjoying a pint at a local burlesque or art show.

Barbara

The lovely Barbara has been with us since the very beginning - and we don't know what we'd do without her! Barbara is incredibly talented and creative, and she continues to inspire the rest of us with her "think outside the vase" arrangements. Barbara has an extensive floral background, including having owned her own successful floral shop in downtown Vancouver. When she's not banging out beautiful creation after beautiful creation, Barbara can be found walking one of her three dogs, taking photographs or renovating her country cottage in the Interior. You'll know Barbara by her sing-song voice and warm demeanor.
