cut flowers
• Cut stems on an angle using a sharp knife (not scissors!)
• Remove all foliage that will be below the water line.
• Arrange flowers in a vase or container filled with fresh, clean, warm water (approx. 100 F or 38 C) if you're using fresh flower preservative, follow package instructions.
• Check water levels daily adding water to the container as needed.
• Place flowers in a cool location out of direct sunlight.
• Keep away from heat sources, drafts and air conditioners.

flower arrangements
• If flowers are arranged in a vase, re-cut flowers and change water every 1-2 days.
• If they are arranged in a floral foam, add room temperature water daily.
• If you are using flower preservative, follow package instructions.
• Add water to the container dail and replenish solution every 1-2 days.
• Place in a cool location out of direct sunlight. Keep away from heat sources, drafts, and air conditioners.

• Inspect soil daily and water when the soil feels dry to the touch. When watering, wet the soil all the way down.
• Be sure to protect furniture from water and scratches.
• Although planters are lined, it is best to water them at your sink to avoid spills.
